| 課程目標 | 讓新進同學通盤了解建築及環境所應具備之基本知識提供日後學習方向之依歸。簡要介紹建築環境相關之各類專題如建築學簡介、建築計畫、建築史、建築構造及結構、建築物理環境及設備，敷地計畫、都市計畫及設計、環境規劃等。 | Objectives | This course offers an introduction to the basic knowledge in architecture for the fresh students. It aims to enable students to understand the relevance of architecture for the future study. The course will introduce the fundamental topics of architecture such as introduction of architecture, architectural programming, history of architecture, building construction and structure, physical environment and building facilities, site planning, and urban planning and design etc. |

| 教學內容 | 簡要介紹建築環境相關之各類專題如建築簡介，建築計劃，建築史，建築構造及結構，建築物理環境及設備，敷地計劃，都市計劃及設計，環境規劃。 建築美學： 課程介紹；什麼是美學？ 什麼是美？ 怎樣獲得美？ 美的基本類型；美的文化模式 以作品的美學特性：下列作品特質：1統一 2協調 3比例 4秩序 5韻律 6變化 7層次 8對比 9突變 10變形 11比喻 12複合 13多元 14單一 15整體 16質感 17空間 18光線。 《看不見的城市》(1972)卡爾維諾(ITALO CALVINO)，建築例子如拉列維特公園(Parc De La Villette 1982) 競圖案 (Rem Koolhaas)、亞歷山大廣場(Alexanderplatz 1993) 競圖案(Daniel Libeskind)、巴黎中央市場（Les Halles 2003）競圖案(Rem Koolhaas)與金澤21世紀美術館(2004) 妹島和世建築設計事務所＋SANAA事務所共同体。 |
