本課程目的在增進學生閱讀原文書的能力，培養閱讀的興趣及效率,並藉以增加其相關之化學知識。基本化學英文句型及英文解讀技巧為此課程之教學重點。 |
Objectives |
As a first course in its series, this course covers basic structure analysis of the technical English and translation. Selected topics from general chemistry, chemical news, etc. An objective is to teach students familiarizing with the chemical terms. |

Grading |
Currently, this course will be taught by two instructors, who is responsible for the teaching assigned. In other words, this course will be divided as two parts. For each part, the final grading will be evaluated based on the performance in middle-term and final examinations. |

Syllabus |
As you may know, English is absolutely required for scientific workers, including the students of colleges and universities, who engage in research in a variety of academic disciplines. In this course, students will be asked to improve the abilities in understanding the articles in the from of technical reports in notes and/or books. |
