日間部:本課程是日間部四技大二學生及二技學生的必修課程。此共同英文課程旨在進一步提升學生之溝通能力，並加強其閱讀能力及寫作概念。
進修部:本課程是進修部四技大二學生的一學期必修課程。此課程旨在進一步強化學生之英語溝通能力。同時，學生也能學到「如何有效的學習英文」，為日後之終身學習，奠基紮根。 |
Objectives |
Day program: This course is required for all sophomores who are enrolled in the four-year day program and students who are enrolled in the two-year day program. It is a general English course that aims to further enhance students’ communication competence and to strengthen their reading skills as well as their understanding in terms of the writing process.
Evening program: This one-semester course is required for all sophomore students who are enrolled in the four-year evening program. The purpose of this course is to further enhance their communication competence. The students will also learn “how to learn English effectively,” which will become a solid foundation for their life-long learning. |

本課程之教材擬取材於原文教科書以及文章，透過以英文為母語人士所撰寫之文章來了解國內外重要資訊，期望學生培養出國際性的視野。除了基本的閱讀之外，學生同時必須以英語表達對於事件的看法，增進口語能力之外。 |
Syllabus |
This course will adopt articles from textbooks and websites. With those articles written by native-speakers, students are expected to know what is going on in the world. They are expected to know the global village from an international viewpoint. Besides basic reading, students have to learn to how to express their comment in English. Therefore, their speaking ability will be improved and an international vision can be cultivated. |
