課程目標為提供修課學生對於各種微生物種類、演化及其與自然界動植物、人類及環境間互動之關係有概括式的瞭解，課程中並將針對有益及有害微生物與人類生活之關係舉例介紹，使學生能夠在未來日常生活中因此而受益。 |
Objectives |
The objective of this course is to provide students basic information about kinds of microorganisms, their evolution, and relationship and importance to animals, plants, human beings and the environments. In addition, some instances of harmful and beneficial microorganisms to human life will be given in the course. |
