| 課程目標 |
電影的映像語言與文學平面語言，兩者雖有不同，卻能相輔相成。電影的文學性就是「電影閱讀」，意即：每個觀眾感受的意義不同，也會與編導意圖有差距，會超過擴大，這是電影閱讀的意義所在。以文學的眼光看電影，能穿越畫面表層，深入解讀與反思內涵的價值陳述或判斷。一方面可以增進藝術（電影、文學）的涵養外，也能認識心靈，溝通人我，涵容和諧的人際關係。 |
Objectives |
In the seventies the most important literary movement in Taiwan was the debate of local-color literature. After two or three years' vigorous discussion, to emphasize the native, to employ the local speech, people and landscape as the subject of literary creation turned out to be a mainstream voice. |

壹、 課程進行方式
本學期授課方式大致以「講授與討論」、「課堂報告」為主。
「講授」方面由老師進行課程內容解說，過程中並希望同學們能加入互動，對課程內容進行討論、心得交換。
「課堂報告」方面，修課同學必須在學期初完成分組，共同完成期中與期末報告。報告內容以「電影中的文學內涵」為主，例如分析電影中的意象、人物、結構與作品主旨，或是從小說改編的電影中討論小說與電影劇本的關係。報告進行方式，可於課堂中作進一步討論。學期中必須視課程單元與進度，繳交個人報告四篇（每篇需1500字以上，紙本，不接受電子檔），作為個人成績評量的標準，期末報告則為團體報告。
貳、 課程內容舉隅
課堂單元與內容舉例說明：
一、陶淵明〈桃花源記〉／賴聲川《暗戀桃花源》
「桃花源」一直是中國文人詩歌創作與生命安頓的重要泉源，因此本單元將從陶淵明著名的〈桃花源記〉開始探討文人的理想與現實之境。最後，對照賴聲川的經典舞台劇《暗戀桃花源》（舞台劇版或電影版），看古今文人在不同時空下的「桃花源想像」。
二、「現代文學——小說」
例如，由白先勇〈金大班的最後一夜〉、黃春明〈兒子的大玩偶〉為例，探討小說寫作技巧、小說流派以及現代小說的分析方法。另外，將以電影《兒子的大玩偶》中「兒子的大玩偶」、「小琪的帽子」、「蘋果的滋味」三部，分析台灣文學之內涵。
三、電影劇本與小說結構
從「意象」、「人物」、「結構」與「主旨」討論電影與小說表現，以此說明文學的內涵以及鑑賞方法。課堂中分析的電影作品如「口白人生 Stranger than fiction」、「羅拉快跑」、「春去春又來」、「英雄」、「黑澤明之夣」等，詳細內容將視課程進行情形作進一步確認。 |

I. Curricular Activities
1. Lecture and Discussion.
2. Group Oral Report: At the beginning of the semester students need to group themselves for the term paper. With regard to what should be presented in the paper, students can either take up and develop the issues raised in class, or explore any literary work, classical or modern, that interests them. Report the content regard"the literature content in the movie" as principle, for example analyze the idea, person in the movie, structure and work subject﹒
II. Course Description:
Classroom unit and content illustrate with example:
Tao Yuan-ming's Taohuayuanji and Lai Sheng-chuan's.
Seeks first to identify the romanticism and realism in Chinese poetry and poets and then to compare the imaginative construction of the arcadia in ancient and modern literary minds.
Contemporary literature-novel.
In this section, we will focus our attention on the introduction of the techniques, categories and critical approaches of modern and contemporary fiction. Bai Xian-yong, Huang Chun-ming are writers of our concern.
Film script and novel structure
Discuss from"idea", "leading role", "structure" and"subject" that movie and novel express, with the content of this explanation literature and appreciate method.
