課程目標 本課程主要是介紹「不穩定」所引起結構的破壞。土木結構多半極為龐大,其破壞方式並非如機械結構肇因於降伏的破壞,也不同於飛機結構破裂及疲勞的破壞方式。本課程即針對土木結構所面臨最常見的破壞方式「挫屈」進行探討。 Objectives The course introduces the failure of structures based on the Instability. Civil structures are always huge comparing with mechanics structures. The failures of these civil buildings are different from those of mechanics structures which induced from yielding failure. Besides, they are also different from the failure of aircraft members involving in the failure of crack and fatigue. This course investigates the typical Buckling failure of the civil structures based on the stability theorem.

教學內容 本課程呈現一系列簡單、明確而且合理廣泛的結構穩定原理與理論。這套理論是鋼結構設計的基礎,也可應用於解決實際建築剛構架設計的問題。 Syllabus This course presents a simple, concise, and reasonably comprehensive introduction to the principles and theory of structural stability that are the basis for structural steel design and shows how they may be used in the solution of practical building frame design problems.
