讓學習者了解社會科學研究的基本概念，理論與研究方法、研究設計、資料收集及分析處理、研究報告的呈現等，並能以團隊合作進行研究設計。 |
Objectives |
This course includes basic concepts of social science research, theories and research methods、 research design、data gathering and analysis、 and the presentation of research papers. In the meanwhile, research design should be processed through team work. |

Students will receive an introduction and some application of strategy and methods of research to problem solving in sport, leisure, and recreation contexts.
<U>Course objectives:</U>
1. To develop knowledge about the use of the scientific process in sport, leisure, and recreation research;
2. To enhance understanding of research design and statistical issues in related disciplines;
3. To improve students’ capacity to interpret and evaluate research in related disciplines;
4. To prepare students to conduct research in sport, leisure, and recreation contexts.
