介紹資料管理觀念。教授核心技術如資料模型、結構化資料查詢語言。資料庫架構及實作概念。介紹資訊技術於資料管理上之應用，如資料倉儲、資料分析、資料探勘及近代網路資料及訊息發展。 |
Objectives |
This course introduces following topics: data management, from data modeling and structural query language technology through database architectures and implementation concepts and information technology application in the data management such as data warehouse, on-line analytic processing and data mining, to web and data exchange technology. |

In our contemporary information society, using computer becomes a necessary skill for everyone. It enhances not only the competitive advantage but also the worker's job performances.
This course will teach students the basic concept of relational database management, and how to use the operating system of Microsoft Access 2007. In turns, students will understand the basic operating principles of this software, controlling skills and their applications in all different fields. |
