Objectives | The objectives of the course are: 1. To develop concepts about Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP), and skills to design curriculum according to the abilities, needs, and interests of young children. 2. To cultivate students’ skills in searching and evaluating instructional materials. 3. To help students become resourceful in designing integrated curriculum. |

Syllabus | The content of the course includes teaching methods and materials for young children in relation to language, science, and play. The purpose of the course is to provide an overview of teaching methods and materials as well as offer an opportunity for pre-service teachers to integrate theories of teaching methods and materials in different areas. |
