教學內容 都市設計是對都市環境所進行的設計，是在都市計畫的指導下，進行某一地區細部規劃和設計。其任務是為人們各種活動創造出具有一定空間形式的實質環境，內容包括各種建築公共設施及設備、景觀等方面，必須綜合體現社會、經濟、都市功能、美學等各方面的要求，亦稱為都市環境設計。因此，一個都市環境若能配合該地規模大小、社經結構、地區特性及各實質發展條件，則其空間在具有創意的都市設計規範的指導原則之下，才能充分表現獨特的地方風格，因此都市社區基地規模，開放空間，建築物造型及色彩、景觀、人事通行系統等之設計連接等有關事宜均應依整體發展，研擬詳細的「都市設計規範性條文」，以引導社區的健全發展構想，同時做為設計者設計時之重要依據。本課程主要的內容，是從都市的發展、社會、經濟、景觀、藝術探討：
一、都市設計闡釋/內涵；
二、永續都市設計；
三、都市設計與更新；
四、都市設計及景觀；
五、都市環境保存與維護；
六、都市設計實務操作方法；
七、都市設計研究方法
八、都市設計與公共安全；
九、都市設計準則；
十、民眾參與都市設計審議。
