Objectives |
The purpose of this course is to teach students the fundamental principles and the applications of soil dynamics. Topics covered including: principles of vibration theory; soil dynamic characteristics and wave propagation in soil medium; soil dynamic laboratory; introduction to earthquake engineering and vibration foundation design. |
