| 課程目標 | 此課程的目的主要在於幫助學生使用不同的策略，來發展基本的英語聽講能力。學生需要去做預測、推論、寫大綱、做筆記，並由語音的線索中找出重要的訊息。學生將運用這些策略來參與各種聽講練習與討論。 | Objectives | This course is designed to develop students" general listening comprehension and oral skills through a variety of strategies. Students will be asked to make predictions, draw inferences, outline, take notes, and listen for phonological clues that signal important information. Students will apply these strategies to a great variety of recorded English and discussions. |

| 教學內容 | 本課程旨在提供學習者將生活英語演練至較為流利之機會。結合教科書及較真實性之教材以提供進階之聽與説之技能訓練。每週進度為一章教科書之內容及課外教材。每週均有小考。 | Syllabus | This course aims to provide opportunities for learners to become fluent in everyday English. Advanced Listening- and oral-skill training will be taught. In addition to other authentic materials, one chapter in the textbook and in-class quiz will be covered/held each week. |
