課程目標 本課程為選修2學分之課程,為工程統計(一)之延伸課程。課程重點在於使學生了解如何蒐集資訊,並應用統計與機率解析資訊,並訓練學生進行團隊合作、簡報與撰寫報告。講授主要內容包括統計估計、假設檢定、變異數分析與實驗設計等。 Objectives This course focuses on statistical inferences. Main topics include statistical estimates, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, and introductory simulations. The course enables the students to familiarize with the concept of inferential statistics and related applications on engineering problems. Students also benefit from interactive learning processes, within individual group, that lead to a term project and oral presentation.

教學內容 本課程為工程統計(一)之進階課程,教導學生在不確定性存在下,將工程問題數學化所需具備之基本知識。主要內容包括隨機變數函數之介紹、迴歸分析、貝式統計方法與品質控制等。 Syllabus This course presents advanced concepts and methods probability and statistics that are essential for modeling the engineering problems under conditions of uncertainty. Specific topics included are functions of random variables, regression and correlation analyses, the Bayesian approach, and elements of quality assurance and acceptance sampling.
