土壤為工程材料的一種，針對工程分析設計之需要，學生需熟悉土壤之物理、滲透、以及力學等各種性質。故本課程之主要目的乃在使學生熟悉「土壤力學」課程中所提到的各項實驗方法、以及如何正確求得各種土壤參數，以作為各種大地工程分析設計之參考。 |
Objectives |
The main purpose of this course is to teach the students how to measure the properties of soils. This course starts with an introduction to methods of subsoil exploration. Additional topics covered in this course including: tests for the index properties of soils, compaction quality control tests of soils for engineering purposes, and tests to obtain the mechanical properties, such as hydraulic conductivity, compressibility and shearing strength of soils. |

Syllabus |
The purpose of this course is to acquaint students with various tests that are fundamental to the practice of geotechnical engineering. Students will learn how to measure the properties of soil that control the classification, pemeability, compressibility, and shear strength of soil. |
