將生活中的食,衣,住,行,環境,醫藥,生物技術等之科學領域,以較淺顯,生活化的形式表達給非理工學院的學生修習. 使學生逐漸了解在日常生活中的化學,物理,醫學等科學原理,進而使學生能對科學產生興趣,並學習將科學常識應用在日常生活中. 除了科技的好處，同時將探討科技產生的負面影響。 |
Objectives |
This class introduces science and technology about food, clothes, house, transportation, environment, medicine and biotechnology in the daily life. It is designed for the students with major in social science, not in natural science. The students will learn how to apply science and technology in their daily lives. In spite of the advantage , we will also discuss the disadvantage that science and technology bring for our life. |

透過作為自然科學窗口的化學，了解其自然科學的化學，在人文社會進步和科技發展中的作用和地位，將生活中的食、衣、住、行、環境、醫藥及生物技術等科學領域，以較淺顯的生活化方式表達給非理工學院的學生習修。使學生對科學產生興趣，並學習將科學常識應用在日常生活中。為了提高同學的學習興趣，特別增加美容與保養的介紹及簡易化妝品習作。 |
Syllabus |
This class introduces science and technology about food, clothes, house, transportation, environment, medicine and biotechnology in the daily life. It is designed for the students with major in social science, not in natural science. The students will learn how to apply science and technology in their daily lives. In order to increase the students’ interest, we add the special courses of beauty, youthfulness and practices of making simple cosmetics. |
