兼顧理論與實務教導社工系同學如何實施社會團體工作，以理論講述，配合同學親身參與團體之經驗，介紹如何以小團體為媒介，來協助案主成長，激發潛能，並帶來有意義改變。 |
Objectives |
Social Group Work aims to provide the student with the basic theoretical underpinning of group dynamics, to develop competence in analyzing group process, and to enable the application of group work method in helping the individual, family, organization, and community. |

Syllabus |
The teacher will initiate the critical knowledge of social group work to students by means of lecture, exercise, discussion, and role-playing. Theoretical concepts, group dynamics, leading skills and ethics will be introduced through the course.
By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the basic knowledge of theoretical models, the understanding of the impacts of group dynamics on people, the competence in applying social group work to individuals, family, organization and community, and the ability to analyse group process as well as to evaluate the outcome of the work. |
