教學內容	這門課將會讓你學論文寫作與發表的技巧,更重要的是這門課會指引你的思考還有解決你遇到的困境	Syllabus	Research writing seeks to bring to the attention of scholars and educated lay people the results and interpretations of original research. Research is a scientific endeavor governed by rules of inquiry. Research writing must, therefore, be guided by rules of preparation and thinking that distinguish the careful work of scientific thought and experiment from ordinary thought and communication. In this course we will cover the guidelines for research publication set forth by the American Psychological Association. The APA Manual has been chosen because it will provide the guidelines for your thesis writing and publication. For this reason it is imperative that students master the ideas and guidelines contained in the APA Manual. But perhaps even more importantly, the guidelines will provoke students to bring a genuinely scientific approach to many of the problems that they encounter. This, in fact, is the broader aim of education which the government promotes via programs such as the graduate program in Applied Foreign Languages.
