由於對生命的日愈重視，因此生命科學的探討聚集了更多人的注意。本門課主要是經由生命起源及滅絕的過程來探討，進而了解生命的來源．尊重生命，並進一步了解目前國內對生物科技發展的情形和其在未來生活上的應用。 |
Objectives |
In Life Science, students are introduced to the scientific study of living things. They should develop their understanding of the way a single species functions in its environment as well as how communities of species live in their environment and interact with one another. Students should be able to recognize genes, to understand biotechnology, to develop their conscience and to have respect to all things in the world. |

本課程的編排主要分為五大主題，分別是有關科技與養生食品、科技與環境、醫學與健康及有關農業科技探討。最後則是討論有關生物科技的理論及介紹一些有關奈米科技的發展、DNA比對和複製的方法及生物科技在生活上的應用。本課程的編排主要是協助學生瞭解生命科學與生活的習習相關與價值。 |
Syllabus |
This course mainly divided into five themes. The first theme is relevant science and health food. The second theme is to state science and environment. The third part discusses the medical science and health. The fourth theme is relevant agricultural science. The following the fifth part is to discuss and state about the theory of biotechnology, introduce about the development of nanotechnology; alignment and replication of DNA; and the application of biotechnology, etc. This course will help students to find out the value of science to life. |
