課程目標 培養觀察、欣賞大自然的能力，增進對科學與人生的了解，讓人生的視野更寬廣，對未來更積極、樂觀。 Objectives Explore the relationship between science and man: Cultivate the ability to appreciate nature and its relationship to our existence. Understand the spirit and practice of science.
教材 上課口頭講解 錄影帶播放及講解 電腦資訊播放 學生口試報告 Teaching Materials chalk and blackboard teaching, video tape play and explaination, internet information introduction, oral report by student.
成績評量方式 期末考一次 每次之成績占60% 上課出勤成績占40% Grading One final examination counts for 60% of the final score. Attendance record counts for 40% of the final score.

教學內容 向學生介紹野生植物與動物,生物多樣性與生物技術,並將人類生活中的食,衣,住,行,環境,醫藥,地球,宇宙等各方面之科學領域,以較為淺顯,生活化的形式表達給非理工學院的學生修習. 使學生逐漸了解在日常生活中的化學,物理,醫學,機械等各項科學原理,進而使學生能對科學產生興趣,並將科學常識應用在日常生活當中. Syllabus This calss introduces science and technology about plant, animal, biodiversity, food, cloth, house, transportation, environment, medicine, biotechnology, earth and universe in the daily life. It is designed for the students with major in social science, not in natural science. The Students will learn how to apply simple science and technology in their daily lives.
