Syllabus |
This course aims to provide students with basic theory of soft computing, including fuzzy logic, neural networks, and evolutionary algorithms. The applications of soft computing to many different fields are introduced as well. Lectures include introduction to fuzzy set theory, fuzzy inference systems, neuro-fuzzy systems, genetic algorithm, ant systems, and reinforcement learning methods. The applications of soft computing to automatic control, decision making, optimization, and system modeling are discussed. |
