一.本課程包含描述性統計與推論性統計方法之介紹。內容強調統計方法在社會工作領域的應用，並且全程配合SPSS教學，以增加學員實際練習經驗。
二.本課程重點為各種推論性統計方法，包括直線迴歸，變異數分析，以及無母數統計等。 |
Objectives |
1.The contents of this course include descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The application of statistics in social work is emphasized with SPSS tutorial.
2.This course introduces the techniques of inferential statistics including ANOVA, regression and nonparametric tests. |

The instructor will illustrate the basic concepts of social statistics. Students are expected to participate in inclass exercises and complete homework. The course contents include: t-test, correlations coefficients, chi-square test, ANOVA etc. |
