20`30年代由歐洲興起的設計早期被稱做量產化的藝術; 其實設計正是介於生活與藝術之間最好的橋樑. 設計的好壞攸關於人的因子, 人是生活中的重要因素, 人性化的設計一直是被受讚揚 , 好的設計能提高生活品質. 藝術是強調對不同美的追求呈現, 對美的敏銳度在設計中是很重要的一環; 此課程會帶領大家去探討設計. 生活與藝術之間的巧妙關係, 及如何去應用在各種不同的領域中. |

| 教學內容 |
本學期的課程以視覺影像, 文學, 與音樂等藝術表現形式為教材， 介紹學生各種藝術表現方式與生活的關係。在欣賞藝術表現的幾種方法之中，這學期尤其注重運用美的形式與原則(視覺語言)的介紹。視覺語言的運用是觀賞藝術的基本能力， 這個基礎可以幫助學生分析畫面，面對所見的影像能夠以文字和語言來表達想法。 |
Syllabus |
This class explores the relationship between art and design. I use visual design, literature, music and film to illustrate how art and design play its role in daily life. It will help design students, especially product designers, to expand his/her idea on art, and to pay attention on daily life. |
