本課程藉由不同情境，輔以英語CD及錄影帶，設定專題來提供一個英語談話的情境，使學生能學習到合宜的詞句。小組討論、角色演練為主要教學技巧，以期能增強學生之聽說能力。 |
Objectives |
This course aims at providing an English-speaking environment to allow students learn about the speaking strategies and common expressions used in different situations through viewing CD, video films and oral practice. Small-group/pair discussion and role-playing are also parts of the methodologies. |

本課程的教學目標，主要是培養學生英文口語溝通的能力和技巧。課程除課本中聽說讀寫、單字、文法等訓練外，還包括跨文化觀點的討論及口語英文的練習。
上課將使用隨書製作的DVD，以加強聽力，單字文法學習及單元討論。 |
Syllabus |
This course is designed to develop oral communication skills. In addition to the emphasis of 'real English', the cultural points and colloquial language point will be included / discussed.
The Video/DVD accompanied with the text book will be used to enhance the vocabulary, grammar and the comprehension of language. |
