本課程的教學目標是期許學生能具備嬰幼兒認知與神經發展的基礎知識，瞭解嬰幼兒發展過程及影響因素，從神經生理的觀點探究幼兒發展，討論心智運作認知神經模式，並激發學生養成科學思索的精神，從而具有探究發展問題的動機以及獨立研究的能力。 |
Objectives |
The course is aimed to help students acquire the basic knowledge of cognitive and neural development of infants and children, understand developmental stages and factors affecting children’s development, construct neural-physical perspective about development, and discuss neurological model of human mind. The course will motivate students to develop scientific thinking spirit, to study developmental problems of children, and to conduct research independently. |

本課程為幼兒發展進階課程，進一步探討當代認知科學以及神經科學有關幼兒發展的研究議題與研究方法，期使學生能夠在具備相關基礎知識外，進一步激發幼兒發展的研究興趣，增進獨立研究的能力。討論主題包含：心靈的本質、神經發展與改變、認知的神經基礎、語言的神經基礎、訊息處理的觀點、皮亞杰的思索、研究方法與設計。 |
Syllabus |
The course presents new research issues of cognitive neuroscience in children, it's aimed to inspire students understanding the process of children's development and constructing a research topic about cognitive development and neuroscience. The topics include the human nature, neuro-biological foundations of cognitive development,informatin processing model, Piaget's theory, the biological foundations of language, research methods and study design. |
