現今對統計學的理解、研究和應用已擴展到各個領域，一般人利用統計訊息在日常生活中作出各種抉擇，制定將來的計畫。為了能對所有有效的訊息正確的理解和應用，人們有必要掌握一定的統計知識。本課程介紹一些搜集、分析資料的統計方法。著重在應用部分而非數理統計方面。因此只需要一些基本的數學和電腦知識即可修習。 |
Objectives |
This course is a survey of statistical methods you can use to collect and analyze data. It explains what these methods are, how to use them. The emphasis is on the use of statistical methods to investigate substantive questions rather than to produce mathematical descriptions of the data. |
