生長在台灣的人,應該知道台灣的歷史,前瞻台灣未來的發展必須從台灣的過去中尋找蜘絲馬跡,從豐厚的文化內涵中凝聚廿一世紀台灣人的共識。本課程目的旨在讓學生透過台灣史的教學,了解自己生長土地的民情風俗和宗教文化,藉此共同的歷史記憶,達到愛護鄉土和惜環境的情操。 |
Objectives |
In recent years Taiwan has experienced a powerful burgeoning of native consciousness. As the people turn toward their roots with newfound nostalgia, study on Tawian’s history, and area of ever-increasing activity, has at last come into vogue. |

1. Introduce the schedule and goal, essential knowledge, basic idea and learning method. 2. Introduce the Character of History, how to learn history, and what’s History? Overall discussion of Historical Science. The definition, research and explanation of history; Historians and practical society. 3. Introduce the research documents of Taiwan 4. The Old Stone Age and the Neolithic Age of Taiwan 5. Nusantao and Aborigines of Taiwan 6. The emergence of Formosa and four stages of immigrant from mainland. 7. The occupation of Taiwan by Spain and Dutch 8. Period ruled by Cheng’s: politics, culture and education, cultivation, and foreign trade. 9. Earlier stage occupied by Qing Dynasty:the development of politics, and economical activities. 10. Later stage occupied by Qing Dynasty:harbors open-up, international trade and Taiwan province establishment and the construction after the province establishment. 11. Japan colonized age(1895-1945):The development of colonized economics, politics, education and society in the period of Japanese occupation.
