| 課程目標 |
由於現代網路的盛行，如何使一般系統能利用到網路的好處是本課程所追求的目標。在多層式架構趨於成熟今日，利用一般的程式語言寫出一個具有多層式的系統已是極為便利的過程，本課程將介紹目前最為盛行的分散機制，如CORBA、DCOM等，並以Delphi或Java語言實作。 |
Objectives |
The focus of this course is on the common gate way interface (CGI) for WWW. The main advantages are its maturity, low demand on resources, and platform-independence. The disadvantage is its lack of a flexible programming interface. We choose Perl as the scripting language because of its powerful string-manipulation capability, especially in dealing with regular expressions. |

自1994年全球資訊網(World Wide Web, WWW)誕生以後，使得Internet的風潮席捲全球，帶給企業及個人極大的衝擊與影響，各國政府更視網路基礎建設為國力根本，積極進行相關建設及發展。本課程主要在教導學生有關Internet的基礎觀念以及利用XML建置與管理網站的相關應用，以期學生後能利用所學知識於實務工作。 |
Syllabus |
With the growth of Word Wide Web (1994) and the growing population using computers and networks, Internet has became the a pervasive part of our society. Governments as well as enterprises see network infrastructure as the basis of competition. The purpose of this course is to teach students the concepts of Internet and how to develop an XML-based Internet web. |
