Objectives |
First, the students are to study western drama and its historical background and development in western literature. Second, they must know various types of western drama and their forms, skills, and performances. And finally, they are to learn how to discuss and analyze western plays. |

A variety of play and drama books (will be availab at Caves Bookshop at the time).
Please note that it might be extremely costly -$$$-to participate in this class due to demanding nature of the subject (i.e. the number of books you need to buy, supplementary materials given...etc.) |

Syllabus |
The prerequisite to join the class is that students must be stronly interested in the field of Western drama/plays. Students with good English skills are also recommended to the course. A variety of plays and a couple of musicals will be discussed in class. This course is extremely intensive. Therefore, students will be expected to work very hard throughout the course. |
