Objectives |
The initial priority of this course is to facilitate students to understand etymology (prefix, suffix, and root), grammatology, and syntax. After all these trainings, students can be given advanced theory of translation. |

Syllabus |
Students are required to translate Vanity Fair and Different Seasons into Chinese. The translated versions of these two books are available, and thus students have to make a comparative studies between Chinese and English representation of syntax and semantics. Besides grammar consolidation is one of the requirements that we have to achieve. |
