課程目標 英語聽講(三)是為了中級程度學生所設計的課程。這些學生雖在先前已受過聽力課程的訓練(英語聽講一、二),但是仍然需要更進一步的練習,以了解不同情境下的口語英文。因此,本課程將提供各種符合實際情況的教材內容,例如日常會話、專題訪談、課堂講述、商業廣告、以及新聞播報等,讓學生練習改善他們的聽力技巧。此外,課堂上也會進行一些相關的口語練習活動,以增進學生間的互動。 Objectives Listening comprehension III is designed for intermediate students who have taken listening comprehension courses previously (Listening comprehension I & Listening comprehension II) but who need further practice in understanding spoken English in different contexts. Therefore, the course will provide students with a variety of authentic inputs, such as conversations, interviews, short lectures, commercials, and news broadcasts, in order to help the students to improve their listening skills. In addition, speaking activities related to the listening tasks will also be used in class to increase student interactions.

Syllabus The course is designed to develop students' general listening comprehension and oral skills through a variety of strategies. Students will be able to follow a lecture, discussion or demonstration in English at advanced level. The course concentrates on listening, speaking, and taking notes.

Students will be asked to make predictions, draw inferences, outline, take notes, and listen for phonological clues that signal important information. Students will apply these strategies to a great variety of authentic English tasks and discussions.
