Objectives |
The culture visits to architecture in four eastern cities in the US i.e. Boston, New York City, Philadelphia and Washingto D.C. comprise the visits to the campuses of the six famous architectural schools(Harvard, M.I.T.,Yale, Columbia, Princeton and U.Pen)and those to famous buildings. This activity offers students the opportunities of first-hand architectural spatial ecperiences and of self-learning. |

朝陽建築系相信讀萬卷書與行萬里路是同樣重要於建築學習之道，我們鼓勵學習過程中先要有必要及豐富的見聞閱歷，因為建築是反應當代的生活與提出未來的願景。既要有美好的想像力，首先要熟悉美好的事物體驗與內化於心中，行旅建築，或國內外山海之際，或紙上遨遊，就成為建築系的必然功課。本年度暑期建築體驗課程至中國北京。 |

Architecture Faculty of Chaoyang University of Technology believes that visity concrete architectural examples is as important as learning architecture from books.We encourge students to incorporate travel experiences in their learning process because architecture has to reflect contemporary life abd offer vision for the future. To cultivate fantastic imagination, a student must experience beautiful things first-hand and then internalizes them. Therefore, visiting architectureal examples or wonderful landscape by travel has become an integral part of architectural students' learning process. The destination of 2005 summer vacation course of Architectural Experience was China's capital Beijing. |
