Objectives |
Applied Linguistics is an interdisciplinary field of study that addresses language-related issues in the real world. It draws upon a wide range of other disciplines such as linguistics, education, psychology, and sociology, and focuses on aspects such as foreign and second language teaching and learning, bilingualism, language planning and policy, language assessment, translation and interpretation, conversation analysis, rhetoric and composition, and related problems of communication. |
