學生修完此門課程，學生可以學習到如何應用各種視聽教材及電腦軟體協助在英語教學法上，對於各種的學習任務類群以最適合的教材方法來分析教學情境。並且加強學生如何清楚地陳述英語教學目的。另外亦學習以ASSURE模式設計課程。 |
Objectives |
This graduate-level course is designed to help students:
1. Choose and use media and technologies on the basis of a consistent rationale.
2. Analyze instructional situations in terms of the media and methods that would be most appropriate for different groups of learners and learning tasks.
3. State instructional objectives clearly.
4. Design lessons according to the ASSURE model.
5. Describe the characteristics, advantages, limitations, and applications of each of the media and technologies discussed in the course.
6. Appraise teaching materials systematically.
7. Identify and evaluate commercially distributed materials.
8. Use media appropriately when making presentations (includes ability to set up and operate equipment with fluency), and critique others' presentations. |

This course is designed to examine the pedagogical applications of widely used types of audiovisual media, computer-based media (e.g. presentation software and computer-assisted instruction). During this course students will learn about guidelines for selection of audiovisual media and methods as well as develop media presentation skills |
