（一）以相關作品說明攝影、電影、電視發展過程；讓同學實際練習照相、電影攝影、錄影攝影之操作技術，並由同學拍攝習作討論從技術操作到觀念表現的攝影創作內涵。期末由同學提出習作之口頭及書面報告，以相互觀摩增進同學對各種影像詮釋方式與攝影手法的學習面向

It is designed to help students develop research, writing and presentation skills appropriate to the discipline of film studies , video photography, and television. In addition to technical and practical matters, the course is about developing the questions that guide film studies research, The screenings and readings will provide the ground for an analysis of the tools and methods of video photography. We will also get a sense of the variety of ways of seeing, interpreting and understanding video photography. We will discuss how this theme informs different film practices and critical methods, and it will provide some links between an otherwise diverse corpus of films.
