安全教育是指維護生命安全的措施及防範意外事故的教育，亦可涵蓋因心理缺乏安全而危及生命安全的心理指導。其目的為確保幼兒安全，促進其身心健康。其涵蓋之內容包括：
一、瞭解兒童安全問題的重要性
二、瞭解意外災害發生的原因及如何預防和處理兒童意外傷害
三、學習如何保護兒童，並教育兒童培養正確的安全生活習慣和態度
四、教導兒童自我保護的知識與技能 |
