Syllabus |
The course is going to introduce basic theories and techniques of consecutive and Simultaneous interpretation and to provide continual practices to students in the class. Students not only know how to interpret from English to Chinese and from Chinese to English, but also reach one exact, instant, fast and smooth step. Interpreting techniques including listening, use of short and long- term memory, note-taking, shadowing, and summarization are stressed in this course and several topics are given for practicing and using different techniques that learners have studied. It helps learners to gain the competence and to conduct consecutive and Simultaneous interpretation. |
