學生修完此門課程，可以瞭解新聞英文的詞彙與片語及特殊語法，及促進學生對報刊討論主題的興趣，以增進新聞英文閱讀能力並提昇學生ICRT或CNN等新聞英文聽力。 |
Objectives |
The main goal of this course is to enlighten students’ interests in News English, cultivating them to be able to read, comprehend, and articulate current critical issues in the news. The students will have a better understanding of the format, caption rendition and news sources, in the news. |

The goal of this class is to teach and train students how to read newspaper and news magazine. Reading textbooks, reading newspaper & magazines, listening to news broadcast on the radio, watching TV news programs and doing group presentation will consitute the main activities of this class. |
