||This course is designated as the basis of the architectural mechanics of structure. The contents include mainly the statics which uses the balance of force to get the reaction of simple beam and cantilever; furthermore, to compute the interior force and stress as well as analyze the characteristics of sections and tension of materials. The goals are achieved by utilizing the analysis and computation techniques to study the principles of Physics. By means of some elaborately designed study cases, students are able to improve their practical knowledge of structural physics and capture the concept of mechanics of structure step by step.
