| 課程目標 |
認識傳播研究批判取向的理論及思想視野，包括法蘭克福學派批判理論、政治經濟學，文化研究的意識形態、文化霸權理論，以及女性主義媒體批判、後現代媒體批判等理論。課程也強調配合時事及個案討論，實際演練批判理論的應用及分析。課程內容：媒體批判研究的理論取向、法蘭克福學派與文化工業批判、哈伯瑪斯溝通行動理論、古典馬克思主義政治經濟學批判、傳播政治經濟學－商品化／組織化／空間化、文化研究導論、意識形態國家機器與主體的召喚、葛蘭西的文化霸權理論、女性主義媒體批判、後現代批判理論。 |
Objectives |
This is an introductory course to the critical approach of communication theory. The main theories of this field will include: the Frankfurt school and critical theory, critical political-economic theory, critical cultural studied of ideology, hegemony theory, feminism media study and postmodernism. This course is aim to give students a critical understanding of key themes in the field and to show how theories illuminate the nature of mass media. These theories will not be discussed in abstraction, but in terms of their practical use in understanding media. Thus, the class will draw heavily from examples of the real media issues of our society. |
