Objectives |
Through learning different operation research issues, the students are trained to understand the deterministic approach in operations research and to develop techniques for solving and analyzing relevant problems with mathematical models. |

Syllabus |
This course intends to provide the needed background to begin to employ mathematical programming as a decision-making tool. It focused on the solution techniques for various deterministic mathematical models. The topics to be covered include linear programming, duality theory, network analysis, transportation and assignment problems, dynamic programming, game theory, integer programming and nonlinear programming. |
