課程目標 日間部:本課程是日間部四技大二學生及二技學生的必修課程。此共同英文課程旨在進一步提升學生之溝通能力，並加強其閱讀能力及寫作概念。
進修部:本課程是進修部四技大二學生的一學期必修課程。此課程旨在進一步強化學生之英語溝通能力。同時，學生也能學到「如何有效的學習英文」，為日後之終身學習，奠基紮根。		 Objectives Day program: This course is required for all sophomores who are enrolled in the four-year day program and students who are enrolled in the two-year day program. It is a general English course that aims to further enhance students’ communication competence and to strengthen their reading skills as well as their understanding in terms of the writing process.
Evening program: This one-semester course is required for all sophomore students who are enrolled in the four-year evening program. The purpose of this course is to further enhance their communication competence. The students will also learn “how to learn English effectively,” which will become a solid foundation for their life-long learning.

教學內容 針對二技學生設計的”進階英文”課程, 以不同的情境, 目的, 與角色辦演 給予學生身歷其境, 實際地體認與演練在職場上英文聽力及英文會話狀況, 以提高學生學習興趣, 增進英文能力. 會話課程以生活/職場情境為主, 切合實際. 上課採一對一或小組練習,促使學生可靈活運用於不同的場合. 再者, “短劇表演”設計讓學生盡情發揮 學以致用 Syllabus Intermediate English is designed to teach students to communicate more effectively according to different situations, purposes and the roles of participants in the upcoming career markets. The course will cover series that involve American/British English used in daily life and is specifically designed for Asian students. Each unit emphasizes listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The choices of interesting and lively texts, together with reasonable and motivating assignments, would ensure our students to develop not only important listening and reading skills, but also fluency in speaking.
