Syllabus |
The instructor will illustrate the basic concepts of social statistics. Students are expected to participate in inclass exercises and complete homework. The course contents include:(1)Descriptive statistics: frequency distribution, graphic presentation, measure of central tendency and dispersion.(2)Basic probability concepts.(3) Inferential statistics: correlations coefficients, chi-square test, ANOVA etc. |
