景觀建築史之主要教學目標在介紹景觀造園之過去演變與未來發展狀況，藉由認識不同時期景觀造園思想哲學對景觀設計的影響，幫助同學欣賞、分析及評論各國著名之景觀設計作品，以提升同學景觀設計的水準。 |
Objectives |
This lecture course presents the history of landscape design in the world from early times to the modern landscape architecture period. Topics include the relation of landscape to culture, landscape use and ecological change, regional and national landscapes, and perceptions of landscape expressed in paintings, photographs, and literature. |
