| 課程目標 |
教學內容儘量完整地介紹比較文學的基本概念、研究方法及發展史概況。此外，在進入比較文學範疇之前，對文學理論與思潮做一導論，說明文學研究與比較文學研究之間的區分，並帶給傳播藝術系的同學一些有關文學方面的認識。期望能在文學與藝術之間架起某種性質的橋樑，幫助藝術創作及文藝理論的了解與應用。內容包括：文學導論；比較文學緒論；比較文學的基本概念：比較文學的定義與學派、比較文學的內容、特點與範圍；比較文學的研究方法：一般方法、影嚮研究、平行研究；比較文學發展史概況：西方的比較文學史概況、中國的比較文學史概況；比較文學發展史概況：中西文學的交匯概況 、比較文學現況。 |
Objectives |
This elective course will introduce Comparative Literature as complete as possible with its essential concepts, researching methodology, as well as its history of general development. In addition, before focusing on Comparative Literature, it will discuss some literary theories and thought as a general introduction to Literature, including different and similar aspects in these two fields. Furthermore, it is hoped that this course can bring to the students of Communication Arts a certain message of the close relation between Literature, Comparative Literature and Communication Arts in the family tree of artistic creative work. And, finally, the purpose is to help students to a certain degree understand the essence of communication, theories and principles of aestheticism, and effective application of multi-media in the domains of Muses of Literature and Arts. |

Syllabus |
Comparative Literature is a semester course of 2 credits, offered by the Communication Arts Department. This elective course will introduce Comparative Literature as complete as possible with its essential concepts, researching methodology, as well as its history of general development. In addition, before focusing on Comparative Literature, it will discuss some literary theories and thought as a general introduction to Literature, including different and similar aspects in these two fields.
