“Integrated English” is designed to teach students to communicate more effectively according to different situations, purposes and the roles of participants in the upcoming career markets. The course will cover series that involve American/British English used in daily life and is specifically designed for Asian students. Each unit emphasizes listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The choices of interesting and lively texts, together with reasonable and motivating assignments, would ensure our students to develop not only important listening and reading skills, but also fluency in speaking. The textbook usually consists of student textbook and workbook, which contains a range of interesting and authentic stories with lively illustrations. There is a comprehensive “grammar section” in the book which will serve as a useful reference tool that may be referred to before, during, or after the class. |
