課程目標 本課程的主要目的在為學生們介紹一項動手做且以活動為主的幼兒數及自然科學課程;課程之原則在於幼兒知識多經由直接經驗獲取。此外,幼兒解決問題能力之建立亦是課堂討論之重點。本課程除課堂講授外,學生亦需以上述原則設計適合幼兒操作之練習或遊戲以達實際學習之效果。幼兒數概念亦將以蒙特梭利數的教學在本課程內加強之。 Objectives The purpose of this course is serving as a guide to a hands-on, activity-based program in science and math teaching for student teachers. The science and math activity to be taught in the course is based on the belief that young children build on their own knowledge from their own experiences. Besides, the ability of young children’s problem solving skills is also a main topic to be discussed in the class. Therefore, student teachers have to experience and to design such courses for young children based on these theories. The math concept is also going to reinforced by the Montessori math method in the course.

教學內容 (一)讓學生了解幼兒自然科學與數學概念之發展。
(二)讓學生藉由設計幼兒自然科學與數學概念的教學活動,學習如何將理論轉換至教學實務中。
(三)探究幼兒自然科學與數學概念之相關課題。
