以民法和商事法相比較，商事法進入了一個更具體的法律領域。公司、票據、海商、保險四法所規範的許多問題，已與現代人的生活息息相關。現代人並非人人皆開設公司，但很可能成為股票族；不一定簽發票據於他人，卻很難拒絕收受票據；不一定經營海運，惟困貨物的託運而涉及運送契約，自當瞭解其權利義務;不一定從事保險業，但甚少與財產、健康保險完全絕緣。在這些法律領域裡，有些屬於較專業的知識，亦有些僅屬常識的範圍。 |
