教學內容	本課程為語音學之基礎課程。以英語為基礎介紹發音之基礎原理與語音之描述方法，相關的音韻規律也將納入介紹。最後，並將列舉英語發音與英文拼寫之對應。	Syllabus	This is a basic phonetic course focusing on the articulatory aspect of the English language. Topics to be covered include mechanism of articulation, consonants, vowels, stress, intonation (cf. tone), syllable structure and phonological processes. Diacritics employed for a narrow transcription will be introducted. The correspondences between English sounds and spelling(orthography) will be covered as a final topic.
