課程目標 從文化的起源談起，針對社會制度、政治制度、宗教信仰、思想風俗、經濟型態、文風藝術等重要文化面像，依時代的先後進行各主題的論述，讓學生能夠了解中國文化的一些特質，並且適度地藉著不同時代的比較來說明文化的演變，以及中國文化對於現代人的影響。 Objectives From the origin of the culture, we discuss the topics by the order of the epoch in the right of the important aspect (ex: social system. the politic system. religion belief. economic type…) . Let students understand some characters of the Chinese culture

教學內容 本科目旨講授從上古至今之中國文化遺產，期使學生能明白中國之重要文化與文物，進可建立學生之民族自信心，且由原有文化遺產中攝取可用於當今社會之文化產業。
本科目主從三斷代來講授，第一，上古文化，說明此期為東方文明之搖籃，諸如文字之興，周禮制度、孔子、老莊之學術思想，以及此期之生活工藝發展情形；第二，中古文化，講授此期印度文化之東來，清談玄學與世族，以及唐宋社會之變遷，亂世下的繪畫藝術，河運水利；第三，近世文化，說明近世戲曲之興起及其研究、海外交通互動、耶穌會士的東來、西方學術的輸入，以及社會、經濟、文化的變遷。		 Syllabus This subject will present the inherent of China from ancient to modern. Make the students could know the inherent culture and antique of China. And could make them have a self-confident of nation.
This course is from three ages to know the origin of culture in East. At first, to present the origin of words, the systerm of Li in Chou etc., the second, the Middle Ages, the culture came from India, the metaphysics and the aristocratic family, and the social transition in in T’ang-Sung, and the art in the troubled times. The third, the culture in Modern, to present the development of drama, import the Western academic and the transition of social, economic, culture.
