Objectives |
To equip the students with a preliminary, yet comprehensive, understanding of the basic concepts and topics in financial management so that the students after commencement can apply them professionally. For students who plan to pursue an advanced degree in related fields, the course further provides them with a solid foundation in the area of financial management. |

Syllabus |
This course is intended to offer students the introductory managerial theories and practices of the finance world. It begins with basic concepts such as time value of money, security markets, taxes, risk analysis, and valuation models. Further, it discusses issues include the decision-making of long-term financing, wroking capital, long-term investment and capital structure. |
